Sultan Aladdin is one of the heroes, and the main protagonist of the 1992 film with his namesake. He is Jasmine's husband and the father of Aziz. He has cameo appearances in Descendants and Descendants 2, and appears in a minor role in Descendants: The Rise of Red.
In The Rise of Red, he is portrayed by Levin Valayil as an adult whereas the younger version of himself is portrayed by Kabir Bery.

Aladdin lives on the streets of Agrabah. After meeting Princess Jasmine and falling in love with her, he is convinced by a man (really the Grand Vizier Jafar) who proposes to reward him if he gets him the lamp from the Cave of Wonders. After the cave collapses, Aladdin keeps the lamp, and releases a genie from it, which grants him three wishes.
In order to marry Jasmine, Aladdin wishes to become a prince. Jafar subsequently has him thrown into the sea so that he will not interfere with his plans to rule Agrabah, but the Genie rescues him, considering it his second wish. The next day, Jafar manages to steal the lamp, and gets rid of Aladdin, but when he returns he tries to get the lamp back.
In a confrontation against Jafar, Aladdin uses his wits to tell Jafar that he will never be as powerful as the Genie, so Jafar wishes to become a powerful genie, but that causes him to end up locked in a lamp. Finally, Aladdin uses his last wish to free the Genie. While the Sultan of Agrabah allows his daughter to marry him even though he is not a prince.
Founding of Auradon[]
At some point after Beast founded Auradon, Aladdin succeeded his father-in-law as Sultan of Agrabah, and he and Jasmine had a son, Aziz.
Descendants[]
He was mentioned in when Maleficent mentioned to Jafar that he wants revenge on him and the Genie.
Aladdin plays Croquet with Jasmine during "Family Day".He later attended Ben's coronation with his wife.
Descendants 2[]
Aladdin, alongside Jasmine, dined with Mal and Ben, being the dinner shown during a report on television.
Aladdin and Jasmine also have a stained glass window on the royal yacht.
Descendants: The Rise of Red[]
On the day that Uma, the new Principal of Auradon Prep, hosted a welcome ceremony upon inviting Princess Red of Wonderland, Aladdin sat with his wife and son as the Queen of Hearts entered with her daughter. When the queen started her coup, Aladdin stayed near Jasmine and Aziz out of fear.
When Red and Chloe went back in time, they came across a young Aladdin and Jasmine who were in love and were known as "Jaladdin". They were also both students at Merlin Academy.
