Josann McGibbon is an American screenwriter, working in partnership with Sara Parriott. She and Parriott are the co-creators of the Descendants franchise, both being the writers of the first Descendants film, for which they won the Writers Guild of America Award.[1] McGibbon and Parriott later served as writers and executive producers for the sequels Descendants 2 and Descendants 3.
