Maleficent[]

Maleficent is the main antagonist of the 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. She is the mother of Mal, and the former ruler of the Isle of the Lost.
Amos Slade[]
Amos Slade is the main antagonist of the 1981 animated film The Fox and the Hound, where he tried to hunt the fox Tod at all costs, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
Anastasia Tremaine[]
Anastasia Tremaine is a secondary antagonist of the 1950 animated film Cinderella, where she constantly mistreated her stepsister Cinderella, for which she was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
She is the mother of Anthony Tremaine. She is also the daughter of Lady Tremaine, sister of Drizella Tremaine, and aunt of Dizzy Tremaine and her sisters.
In Descendants: The Rise of Red, she and Drizella are called by their mother, who tells them that it's time for their dress fitting.[2]
Aunt Sarah[]
Aunt Sarah is an antagonist of the 1955 animated film Lady and the Tramp, where she hated Lady, whom she forced to wear a muzzle and subsequently sleep in the garden.
She is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has her listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
Big Bad Wolf[]
The Big Bad Wolf is the main antagonist of the 1933 animated short film Three Little Pigs, where he tried to capture and devour the three little pigs after demolishing their houses, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
He stands out for being the only character originating from a short film present in the Descendants universe.
Captain Hook[]

Captain Hook is the main antagonist of the 1953 animated film Peter Pan. He is the father of Harriet, Harry and CJ Hook.
Captain Hook's crew[]
Captain Hook's crew is a group of pirates who are the tertiary antagonists of the 1953 animated film Peter Pan, where they helped Captain Hook in his plans to defeat Peter Pan, with which they were sent to the Isle of the Lost. They have several descendants who attend Dragon Hall, Big Murph being the son of one of them.
Chernabog[]
Chernabog is the main antagonist of the segment Night on Bald Mountain from the 1940 animated film Fantasia, where he summoned ghosts and demons during the night on top of Bald Mountain, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
Claude Frollo[]

Claude Frollo is the main antagonist of the 1996 animated film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He is the father of Claudine Frollo.
Clayton[]
Clayton is the main antagonist of the 1999 animated film Tarzan, where he tried to hunt Tarzan's gorilla family, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is the father of Clay Clayton. He is referenced in the book The Isle of the Lost, where his son Clay is introduced.[3]
Cruella De Vil[]

Cruella De Vil is the main antagonist of the 1951 animated film 101 Dalmatians. She is the mother of Carlos De Vil, and aunt of Diego De Vil.
Diablo[]

Diablo is the secondary antagonist of the 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. He is Maleficent's pet raven and loyal henchman.
Dr. Facilier[]

Dr. Facilier is the main antagonist of the 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog. He is the father of Freddie and Celia Facilier.
Drizella Tremaine[]
Drizella Tremaine is a secondary antagonist of the 1950 animated film Cinderella, where she constantly mistreated her stepsister Cinderella, for which she was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
She is the mother of Dizzy Tremaine and her sisters. She is also the daughter of Lady Tremaine, sister of Anastasia Tremaine, and aunt of Anthony Tremaine.

Edgar Balthazar[]
Edgar Balthazar is the main antagonist of the 1971 animated film The Aristocats, where he kidnapped Madame Bonfamille's cats to be the sole heir to her fortune, for which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is the father of Eddie Balthazar. He is referenced in the novel Return to the Isle of the Lost, where his son Eddie is introduced, being mentioned the time when he was intent on drowning Duchess and her kittens.[4] He is also mentioned in the book Descendants 3: The Villain Kids' Guide for New VKs.[5]
Evil Queen[]

The Evil Queen is the main antagonist of the 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is the mother of Evie, as well as the stepmother of Snow White.
Flotsam and Jetsam[]

Flotsam and Jetsam are the secondary antagonists of the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid. They are the fathers of Lagan and Derelict.
Gaston[]

Gaston is the main antagonist of the 1991 animated film Beauty and the Beast. He is the father of Gaston Jr., Gaston the Third and Gil.
Governor Ratcliffe[]
Governor Ratcliffe is the main antagonist of the 1995 animated film Pocahontas, where he invaded the New World in search of gold, without caring about killing its inhabitants to get it, for which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is the father of Rick Ratcliffe. He is referenced in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where his son Rick is introduced.[6] He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]

The Horned King[]

Jasper and Horace Badun[]
Jasper and Horace Badun are the secondary antagonists of the 1961 animated film 101 Dalmatians, where they helped Cruella De Vil in her plans to kidnap Dalmatian puppies to make a coat with their furs, with which they were sent to the Isle of the Lost.
They are only referenced as the fathers of Jace and Harry Badun.[7]
Kaa[]
Kaa is a snake who is the secondary antagonist of the 1967 animated film The Jungle Book, where he tries to hypnotize Mowgli to devour him, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
Lady Tremaine[]

Lady Tremaine is the main antagonist of the 1950 animated film Cinderella. She is the mother of Anastasia and Drizella Tremaine, and grandmother of Anthony and Dizzy Tremaine, as well as the stepmother of Cinderella.
LeFou[]
LeFou is the secondary antagonist of the 1991 animated film Beauty and the Beast, where he was Gaston's faithful follower in all his plans, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost. He is the father of LeFou Deux.
Lucifer[]

Lucifer is the secondary antagonist of the 1950 animated film Cinderella. He is the father of several kittens, including Beelzebub.
Madam Mim[]

Madam Mim is the main antagonist of the 1963 animated film The Sword in the Stone. She is the grandmother of Mad Maddy and other young witches.
Madame Medusa[]
Madame Medusa is the main antagonist of the 1977 animated film The Rescuers, where she kidnapped Penny, an orphan girl, to force her to get the Devil's Eye diamond in an underground cave, with which she was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
She is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has her listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1]
Monstro[]
Monstro is one of the main antagonists of the 1940 animated film Pinocchio, being a whale that tried to devour Pinocchio and Geppetto.
He is referenced in Descendants 2, where a sign of Monstro's Basking Buffet is seen when Mal and her friends arrive at the port to rescue Ben.[8] Another sign of Monstro's Basking Buffet is also seen in Descendants 3 when Mal and her friends arrive on the Isle.[9]
Mother Gothel[]

Mother Gothel is the main antagonist of the 2010 film Tangled. She is the mother of Ginny Gothel, as well as the foster mother of Rapunzel.
Mr. Smee[]

Mr. Smee is the secondary antagonist of the 1953 animated film Peter Pan. He is the father of Sammy, Squeaky and Squirmy Smee.
Pain and Panic[]

Prince John[]
Prince John is the main antagonist of the 1973 animated film Robin Hood, where he abuses his power to raise taxes on his subjects, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.

Queen of Hearts[]

The Queen of Hearts is the main antagonist of the 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland. She is the mother of Red, and the ruler of Wonderland.
Prior to The Rise of Red, it is stated in the books of The Isle of the Lost series prior to Beyond the Isle of the Lost: Wonderland that she was imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost with the other villains, being the owner of a salon and a teacher at Dragon Hall; it is unknown whether she was eventually sent back to Wonderland as its Queen or if the information regarding her time on the Isle is considered a continuity error.
Professor Ratigan[]
Professor Ratigan is the main antagonist of the 1986 animated film The Great Mouse Detective, where he tried to usurp Mouse Queen's throne, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is briefly mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where while Jay walks through the streets he had to dodge rickshaws manned by Ratigan's daredevil crew.[10]
The Ringmaster[]
The Ringmaster is an antagonist of the 1940 animated film Dumbo, where he locked up Mrs. Jumbo, and made her son act as a clown after ruining the show with which he hoped to succeed, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is the father of Hermie Bing. He is referenced in the novel Return to the Isle of the Lost, where his daughter is introduced.[11]
Scar[]
Scar is the main antagonist of the 1994 animated film The Lion King, where after killing his brother Mufasa he tried to get rid of his nephew Simba to become king of the Pride Lands, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1] In the film Descendants 3, a picture of him is seen during the song "Break This Down".
Shan Yu[]
Shan Yu is the main antagonist of the 1998 animated film Mulan, where he invaded China and kidnapped the Emperor, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.
He is mentioned in the book Descendants: Mal's Spell Book, where Mal has him listed among other villains as "Those Entitled to Respect".[1] In the film Descendants 2, when Mal comes back to the Isle of the Lost and sees a poster with her and Ben, near it is seen a poster advertising of Shan Yu's Dim Sum, apparently being one of the villains who sell food in the Isle.[12]
Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed[]
Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed are the secondary antagonists of the 1994 animated film The Lion King, where they helped Scar in his plans to take over the throne of the Pride Lands, for which they were sent to the Isle of the Lost.
They are mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost as the parents of some Spotted Hyenas.[13]
Shere Khan[]
Shere Khan is the main antagonist of the 1967 animated film The Jungle Book.
Stabbington brothers[]
The Stabbington brothers are the secondary antagonists of the 2010 animated film Tangled, where after stealing the royal crown and being betrayed by Flynn Rider they allied themselves with Mother Gothel to ambush Rapunzel and Rider in order to take revenge on the latter, with which they were sent to the Isle of the Lost.
They are only referenced as the fathers of the Stabbington cousins.[14]
Stromboli[]
Stromboli is one of the main antagonists of the 1940 animated film Pinocchio, where he locks up Pinocchio to perform in his puppet show and make him money, with which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost.

Yzma[]
Yzma is the main antagonist of the 2000 film The Emperor's New Groove, where she tried to take down Emperor Kuzco to usurp his throne, with which she was sent to the Isle of the Lost. She is the mother of Yzla and Zevon.

Parrot Umbrella[]
The Parrot Umbrella is a minor character of the 1964 film Mary Poppins, being an umbrella with a wooden talking parrot head in the handle that is used by Mary Poppins to fly.
He has a brief appearance in the Descendants: Wicked World episode "Pair of Sneakers" among the objects that Dr. Facilier keeps in his shop. Although like other things in the shop, it may only be a replica and not the original.
He stands out for being the only character originating from a Disney live-action film to appear in the Descendants universe.
Yen Sid[]

Yen Sid is a major character of the segment The Sorcerer's Apprentice from the 1940 animated film Fantasia. He is a citizen of Auradon who was sent to the Isle of the Lost to try to apply some kindness to the Villain Kids.

Cook is a worker at Ursula's Fish and Chips, who debuted in the novel Rise of the Isle of the Lost.
Morgana le Fay[]
Morgana le Fay is the mother of Morgie. She is based on the same legendary sorceress of the same name who existed in the legends of King Arthur, being a rival of Merlin.
She is briefly mentioned by Morgie in the film Descendants: The Rise of Red when he introduces himself as her son.[15] In the book The World of Auradon: Royals and Villains, she is described as a powerful dark sorceress who is cruel and merciless, and feels no guilt about hurting innocent people to achieve more power. In her past, she studied with Merlin before turning on him and becoming his enemy. After the founding of Auradon, she was locked up on the Isle of the Lost along with the other villains.[16]
Morgie[]

Morgie is the son of Morgana le Fay, who debuted in the film Descendants: The Rise of Red.
Royal Astronomer of Agrabah[]
The Royal Astronomer of Agrabah is a character mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost. In the past, he helped Jafar in his evil plans, who consulted him more than once to know the exact alignment of the stars, for which he was sent to the Isle of the Lost. He is the father of Reza.[17]
Sea Witches[]
The Sea Witches are possible relatives to Ursula, Uliana, and Uma. They're mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost.

Jade is the cousin of Jay, and niece of Jafar. She is mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where Jay mentions that Mal missed Jade's ‘Scary Sixteenth’ party.[18] She is also mentioned in the book Descendants 2: Uma's Wicked Book: For Villain Kids among those who have wrestled crocodiles, mentioning that Jade attempted to wrestle a six-foot crocodile underwater, and that this proved to be a mistake because she almost drowned.[19]
Jay[]

Jay is the son of Jafar, and cousin of Jade. He moved to Auradon in Descendants, where he officially made his new home.
Lagan and Derelict[]
Lagan and Derelict are the children of Flotsam and Jetsam. They are mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where Jay says that they are his pets, mentioning that they are big as monsters and they no longer fit in their aquarium.[20]
LeFou Deux[]

Lost Revenge's Crew[]

Othello[]
Othello is the son of Iago. He is mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where Evie says that he is her pet, being a gift for her sixth birthday, and mentions that he is very foul-mouthed.[21]
His name is a reference to his father's name's source: Iago is the name of the villain in William Shakespeare's tragedy Othello, therefore Othello is named after the play's titular character.
Rick Ratcliffe[]
Rick Ratcliffe is the son of Governor Ratcliffe. He is mentioned in the novel The Isle of the Lost, where Jay tells Jafar that he has stolen Rick's pistol keychain.[6]
