The Royal Cotillion is the royal party introducing Mal as a new Lady of the Court. It is broadcasted live and takes place on The True Love (the royal Auradonian yacht). It was organized by Fairy Godmother and her daughter Jane. The dresses were designed by Evie and it had all the royals from Auradon attending (except Audrey and Chad Charming). It was hosted by Lumiere.
History
After all the guests were on board the boat and the party had started, Ben arrived and announced that Uma would be his Lady, much to the horror and shock of Mal and the others attending. After the stained glass window, he designed for Mal is revealed, Uma pressures him into issuing the taking down of the Isle's barrier. Fairy Godmother refuses. Mal then kisses Ben, breaking Uma's love spell. She then becomes his lady. Angered by the thwarting of her plan, Uma jumps overboard into the water and sprouts tentacles. She proceeds to attack the royals with her tentacles, and Mal transforms into a dragon to stop her. The two battle each other but Ben intervenes and persuades Uma to stop her attacks. Uma leaves into the ocean and everyone celebrates their victory in the song of You and Me.
