So This is Love is the second song on the Descendants: The Rise of Red soundtrack. It is sung by Brandy Norwood and Paolo Montalban as their respective characters, Queen Cinderella and King Charming. It is a version of the song of the same name from the 1950 animated film Cinderella.

Cinderella

During the ball, Cinderella slowly falls in love with Prince Charming as the two move away from the ballroom and to an area more private.

Descendants: The Rise of Red

Cinderella tells Chloe how she fell in love with Charming as the two reminisce on the song that brought them together as Chloe watches.

Trivia

• This is the fifth song from a Disney animated film to be used in the Descendants franchise. The first was "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast, the second and third being "Kiss the Girl" and "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Little Mermaid, and the fourth being "Dig a Little Deeper" from The Princess and the Frog.
• The last lines for the song are both different whereas on music streaming platforms, it ends with "The key to all Heaven is mine", in the film, it ends with the title of the song. It is one of three songs to be different, the others being "Fight of Our Lives" and "Shuffle of Love".
• While she does not sing in the song, Chloe briefly vocalises.
• In a behind the scenes video, it is mentioned that the choreography was based from the 1950 original film.
