The Grand Duke is a supporting character in the 1950 animated film Cinderella. He appears in the novel Return to the Isle of the Lost, helping Ben in his investigation around Auradon.

In Cinderella, the Grand Duke is a tall man, tih black hair and moustache, and wearing an elegant blue suit.
In the graphic novel Return to the Isle of the Lost: The Graphic Novel, his appearance is shown to be older and more like the former King of Charmington, having white hair and mustache, having gained weight, and wearing a cream-colored suit.

The Grand Duke as he appears originally in Cinderella.
When a ball is held at the palace, the King entrusts the Prince with the mission of spending time with the young girl who seems to have caught his attention. When she flees the palace, the Grand Duke tries to stop her, although without success.
The next morning, he explains the situation to the King and tells him that the only clue they have about her is a glass slipper, with which the King orders him to find her owner. After making the kingdom's marriageable young women try on the shoe, in Lady Tremaine's home he does the test with Anastasia and Drizella, although without success. When Cinderella arrives, the Duke prepares to try on her shoe, but Lady Tremaine makes it break, causing the Duke to start crying. But fortunately, Cinderella shows him that she has her other shoe, much to the Duke's joy.
