The Isle of the Lost: The Graphic Novel is the first installment of the series graphic novel adaptation of the Isle of the Lost book series and was released on September 4, 2018. It is the graphic novel adaptation of "The Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel". It takes place before the events of Descendants.
Plot[]
Twenty years ago, King Beast and Queen Belle unified all the kingdoms to create Auradon but sentenced all villains to the Isle of the Lost, including those who died to serve as punishment for what they did, on the Isle, there is no magic and they only live in isolation. After not being invited to the sixth birthday party of Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, ten years later,Mal, daughter of Maleficent, attempts to get her revenge by hosting a party of her own at Hell Hall, home of Cruella De Vil and her son, Carlos De Vil with Jay, son of Jafar in attendance and several of the other kids on the Isle.
After learning that Diablo was freed, Maleficent orders her daughter and newfound friends to retrieve the, as the four travel to the The Forbidden Fortress, they learn that the Dragon's Eye can curse whoever touches it to fall asleep for a thousand years and return home without it as their parents call their respective child a disappointment.
Meanwhile in Auradon, Prince Ben starts to be tailored by Lumiere as he thinks of his first decree.
